Since 1949
Yeovil Car Club's
HistoryYeovil Car Club's roots stretch back to the earliest days of motoring, with evidence of a vibrant club even before the Second World War. The club, as it stands today, was formally re-established in 1949 and has been at the heart of Somerset's motoring scene ever since.
Pioneering Events
From the legendary Avalon Rally of the 1970s to the Bristol to Weymouth/Bournemouth run—one of the UK's biggest vintage car events—our members have shaped some of the most celebrated moments in classic motoring.
Community & Charity
Over the decades, events like the Yeovil Festival of Transport have raised around £250,000 for local charities. We're proud of our tradition of giving back, supporting both the motoring world and our local community.
